This is an unopened DynoJet Power Commander V that was factory ordered for a 2008 Sportster XL 1200 This brand new unit has never been opened. Please note that this is SPECIFICALLY RETROFITTED FOR A 2008 Sportster 1200 - the box part number is 15-002 but the program/fuel/timing mapping contained inside will most likely NOT work with 2009/2010 bikes. This PCV is A MUST HAVE if you are changing your air filter, installing new mufflers, an aftermarket or modified exhaust system, or if doing engine performance modifications. Why is this "Retrofitted"? Directly from DynoJet, Power Commander V’s do not work with 2008 and earlier Sportsters out of the box. This unit was purchased from DynoJet’s largest distributor and it was it was ordered specially retrofitted to fit a 2008 Sportster 1200. I have had several motorcycles over the years, and after much consideration I have committed myself to keeping my latest bike stock. I am selling parts that I purchased (but never installed or opened). This brand new, factory sealed unopened PCV is currently mapped for a 2008 XL1200, 2” baffle Rush Slip-on exhaust, and a Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle air cleaner. What about warranty? I am not providing a warranty, as I am not a reseller, etc. I will, howver, provide a letter explaining that I purchased it “as a gift” (a gift for the winning bidder). This will get you technical support/warranty. Of course, I will also provide original proof of purchase to the winner of this auction. This unit is still under the remainder of a two-year warranty - I ordered the about two months ago. Why am I selling this? I originally purchased this PCV to accommodate existing Rush 2” slip-on pipes and a Screamin’ Eagle air cleaner that I purchased but never installed (see auction below). After riding and listening to my bike, I do not need the PCV to accommodate my existing pipes… and I have decided that I am not going to upgrade to a Screamin’ Eagle air cleaner. When I bought this bike I committed to myself I was going to keep it basically stock… so I ultimately decided to go with my original plan and keep my bike stock.
