This a is new in the box Barnett Extra Plate Clutch kit for Big Twins 1941-Early 1984. The kit consists of 6 bonded Series K Kevlar friction plates, 1 steel plate, and a set of heavy duty clutch springs. Pre 1968 models will require an extra steel drive plate. This kit will not work with "EZ Pull" or Easy Clutch" kits. This kit comes with heavy duty springs. If the lever pressure is too severe, stock springs may be used. Follow the factory manuals for adjusting free play, pressure and throw-out clearance. This kit can be used as a wet or dry setup. Barnett clutch kits, good stuff. And just for the record, I prefer to run a dry clutch on a Big Twin. Been running a dry set up for years and I love it. I tried a wet clutch for one summer, and ....... went back to dry. I've found out the hard way that the old shovels like to keep it simple.
