Mirrors
There are myriad ways to update your bike. Mirrors may be the last thing you think of, but how else can you adds that finishing touch that rounds the whole thing off. You purchased new saddlebags, custom wheels, and pipes to accent your hog, but the little accessories can really set your bike off as an individual accomplishment.
Mirrors come in as many styles as there are ideas. The classic Harley Davidson mirror is the simple rounded rectangle.

Though this mirror is functional it does not stand out as it looks like any car mirror. The range in the custom market is amazing, and the amount of places to buy these mirrors is only exceeded by the number of enthusiasts wanting specialty mirrors.
Some of the custom designs are not for everybody. You can get a Harley mirror with a skull as the face or on the stem. A snake can be seen crawling up some of the stems and entwining the mirror face.
Some of the coolest new faces are the scoop, four points, and the teardrop. Scoop style mirrors look like a swooping hand scoop (that would typically be seen in a flour or sugar bin.) these mirrors don’t offer the surface area of the stock Harley Davidson mirror, but they are available in a variety of finishes and stand out from any stock offering. Four points mirrors do offer the same viewing area while giving you a new design. The four points mirror is a rectangular shape that has a concave arch (instead of a straight line) between the points. The teardrop is just that, a teardrop. The mirror offers about the same viewing area as the scoop, but is another design that will allow you to adequately see the road behind while offering a unique presence for your bike.
Variations on the above themes such as the upswept (a kind of oval scoop), bullet, and trident designs give you even more to choose from. Different manufacturers also offer some variations and color combinations not mentioned. Whatever your individual style, you can find a custom Harley Davidson mirror to match it.
